3M™ General Purpose PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), an easy unwind glass cloth tape impregnated with PTFE and coated with a silicone adhesive.Extruded film of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) with non-slip and non-adhesive characteristics, with a silicone adhesive. This tape provides an exceptionally plain surface when applied. So the same offers a high resistance to bending during the unwinding and application. His products resistance to quimic is excellent ( With the organics solvents exception).Once applied , the tape can be considered permanent if dont exceed the limits to support and the adhesive . To prevent the PTFE support from bubbles or wrinkles, when the tape is subjected to temperatures exceeding 120º C, preheatingsurfaces at a minimum 66ºC of temperature ( or 82ºC pregerably).
